Nytt kalsium-ionbatteri
Recently, Tang Yongbing, a researcher at the Functional Thin Film Materials Research Center of the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his team, together with Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute and Cheng Huiming, a researcher at the Shenyang National Research Center for Materials Science, Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, developed a high-performance calcium ion Battery. By innovating the battery structure, they made the calcium ion battery have a new electrochemical reaction mechanism, and realized the stable charge-discharge reaction at room temperature. The relevant research results were published online in "Nature-Chemistry".
Blant jordalkalimetallelementer har kalsium fordelene med lav polarisering, standard elektrodepotensial nær litium, ion med pluss 2 valens (antall ladninger er dobbelt så mye som litiumion), rikelige reserver og lave kostnader. Forskerne foreslo en ny type kalsiumionbatteri, som bruker tinnfolie som negativ elektrode for å gjennomgå en reversibel legeringsreaksjon med kalsiumioner, og vedtar den integrerte designen av aktivt materiale og strømsamler; og bruker grafitt som positiv elektrode for å realisere reversibel interkalering/deinterkalering av anioner.
